Sensitivity
How loud a speaker plays per watt, in dB.
Sensitivity, quoted in dB at one watt and one meter, tells you how efficiently a speaker turns power into volume. A 3 dB difference is roughly double the power for the same loudness. Low-sensitivity speakers want a beefier amp — a key matching spec.
