Preamp Out / Line Level

A line-level output ready for an amplifier or powered speaker.

Once a phono stage has boosted and equalized the signal, it’s at line level — the standard strength every amplifier, receiver and powered speaker expects. A turntable with a built-in preamp offers a line-level output you can send anywhere; a raw phono output cannot.
